One of the only true AMERICAN breeds, it is also one of the
youngest, dating only to the late 1800's. The Boston came
about by selectively breeding English Bulldogs, the White English
Terrier and adding in French Bulldogs and even Bull Terriers.
We love all of our dogs at Sturbridge but the Boston will always
reign supreme! Our Boston program is a true labor of love.
We strive to breed the BEST with the BEST to improve the breed.
Great dispositions are almost a given with Bostons
and this combined with a long and excellent health history is
the cornerstone of the Boston breeding program at Sturbridge.
